Breakfast with the Boys

This morning I decided not to cook. I decided to take my boys to brunch and leave my husband a quiet house. We ate brunch at the Island Bakery, next to the New Balance Store on Stickney Point road. It is a Gluten free, Wheat free bakery with an array of breads, cakes, cookies, scones and subs and sandwiches. They had pies, and muffins and pot pies and lasagna.... It was so exciting to be able to walk into a store front and order a sandwich I didn't have to make for myself and smuggle into a resturant to eat with the rest of my party. We also really enjoyed our chocolate cookie scone. Samuel enjoyed a piece of vanilla cake. We topped it off with OJ and an organic Vanilla Latte for me. After we had fun visiting the Fruitville Library and shopping at Dettwieler's Market. Another beautiful day in Sarasota. Are you Gluten Free?
